Early morning light shines through the dense canopy, greedily soaked up by a hungry leaves. Fairy Virgil stirs awake in his elkhorn nest. Rain overnight has adorned his surrounding in sparkling droplets. He stretches out and catches a few of them on his delicate pink tongue. He watches as one of the droplets falls into the forest below. It has been a long time since he has gone down there, perhaps he should go down for an adventure some time. Not today though, it is time to go warm himself in the sun! His lean graceful body blends in perfectly with his environment as he ascends shelves of bright orange fungi up to the top of his tree.
